Annie is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Research Fellow based at the University of Edinburgh. Her background in conservation microbiome research in New Zealand has led Annie to spearhead research in the emerging field of Temporal Hologenomics, where she uses museum collections to enhance our understanding of population declines in wild species. Ultimately, she wants to establish a holistic, hologenomics approach that facilitates the development of applicable tools and procedures directly relevant for conservation programmes.
